In the end, I did get the help I needed, but it took more digging than I expected. The Splunk community has a lot of knowledgeable people who are willing to help, which I really appreciate. The tricky part is sorting through old posts, outdated answers, and a confusing ecosystem, especially if you're newer and just trying to find a clear solution.

splunk has been reliable for monitoring and alerts, and once we got things tuned, it worked well for our team. That said, the setup definitely took more time than I expected, and some alerts got noisy really quickly. It’s a strong tool, but for the price, I do wish it was a bit easier to manage out of the box...

I’m sure it’s probably really powerful once you know your way around it, but for an average user like me, it didn’t feel very friendly.

It ended up costing more than we expected, and it just didn’t really pay off for our team, haha. Might work better for others, but it wasn’t the right fit for us.
